Name Badges must be worn by Summer Program participants to all official Summer Program sessions, concurrent program meetings, in the CTE Meeting Place, and special meal functions. Meeting facilitators and uniformed guards will be monitoring meeting rooms and The CTE Meeting Place entrances.
Replacement Badges are available at the Registration Desk located in The CTE Meeting Place. A $5 fee will be assessed for each replacement badge.
Complimentary Continental Breakfast and Lunch on Wednesday & Thursday
Breakfast - 7:00 - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Door Prizes
Attendees must be present to win door prizes to be given at the Wednesday and Thursday lunches and the Refreshment Break on Tuesday, July 9, 2:30-3 p.m. in The CTE Meeting Place (Galt House Hotel East Tower Ballroom A and Grand Hall).
Attendee Reception at KACTE Annual Meeting
All attendees are invited to the KACTE Annual Meeting, Tuesday, July 9, 5:45 p.m., in Ballroom B of the Galt House Hotel East Tower, Second Floor. Light refreshments and snacks will be available. Door prizes will be presented.
Leadership, Professional Development Hours/Certificates
School districts may award Professional Development hours for attendance at the Annual Statewide Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Program. The CTE Summer Program offers the opportunity for up to 15 Professional Development Hours.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance/participation for the 2024 CTE Summer Program upon the completion of the CTE Summer Program evaluation in August to document attendance/ participation. The evaluation instrument will be sent by e-mail by mid-August to each person who attended. Only those who registered and picked up their name badge to verify attendance will be e-mailed the evaluation form. If you did not complete the registration form personally, you must check with the Registration Desk to verify the e-mail address to which the evaluation instrument will be e-mailed. ONE DAY ATTENDEES must pick up their certificates at the end of the day of attendance. Daily certificates will not be e-mailed.
